The Youth Silent Film Festival has been asked to present the Award Ceremony and Screening as part of the Rose Festival event at the Hollywood Theater.

Also appearing in a podcast at Metroscope PDX.

The festival is designed to engage youth in the creation and celebration of silent film and to raise awareness for and appreciation of the artistry of live film music.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the filmmakers for first ($1000), second ($500) and third ($250) films chosen by the Festival jurors.
